Ill post a series of videos here as they get uploaded. First up, i took a leisurely stroll down 226A.

Fun fact about this video, user SCCBrider was tracking me turn for turn on his Goldwing Tour the entire time. That machine is wildly capable.

Second, part of mysolo return trip to charleston from NC, i took Bat Cave Rd and hwy 74 down to lake lure. What a surprise this road was. Im gonna keep it on my list. Play on high res for some gorgeous roadside scenery!

... beautiful. You guys have, ... like ... , no cages on the roads down there.
I think it's a matter of distribution. In areas like this there are so many of these kinds of roads that they can't all be full of traffic. everywhere you go in WNC is a perfect motorcycle road. It's our Holy Land.

Friendly reminder that this year's CB1100 Rally takes place in the Holy Land. If you miss it that's on you :beerchug:
Next. Some video of SCCBrider on hwy 421 in TN on his Wing. Not to be underestimated.

For those using Apple gear that, for some reason, won’t display linked videos, here are the links,

Remember to archive and, if required, transcode the videos in the future so you can replay them from the rocking chair, bib strapped on under the chin.

Heh, heh - you might even need a seat belt as you relive the twists. Heck, maybe even a bed pan.

lol - maybe more dependable than a bed pan. Sexier too for the nurses.

I didn't even know that you really have curves over there.. smileeeee.. only if I would drive like that here with us I mean on the other side of the center line is enemy country for me with our large volume of traffic ....... where is the head /body?

ok, our streets are often not that wide anyway...if the oncoming traffic (also) doesn't concentrate, drives correctly.....so you can't afford the head on the other side of the middle line

Oh, I wasn't actually on the other side of the line. Somebody else asked me the same thing, but it's the position of the camera that's making you think that. It's offcenter, mounted on the brake reservoir. this gives the appearance of being much closer to the center line than I really am. Believe me, I don't ride like that anywhere.

incidentally, i found another scenic one that I forgot about in the Camera's storage. This one's from the foothills of Western NC, south of Marion.
