Pyr?n?es Orientales with my wife and my CB1100

A ride for november the 11 with a very good weather from Ax-les-Thermes where I live to Col de Puymorens (see other post for the view) and Carol Valley with old towers, citadel of Mont-Louis (Vauban style est 1679) still occupied by the army (national commando training center), with in the civilian part an good restaurant….after few kilometers the Bouillouse lake (artificial for hydro electricity production) at about 2050 m asl, return at night by col de Pailheres. Very good ride with extra mountain roads of about 170 km.
Because of limitation at 14 photos/message I began with Carol valley and Mont-Louis… the following if you want later…

the refuge at 2050m asl, with this good condition it is a nice place, but in winter it is like the refuge of "the shinning" film ….

ride back, a small brake at Mathemale village

then it began to be darker, here at Mijanes village, the last before the hard climb to col de Pailheres

Which rear rack (company/model) is that?
It's the first one I've noticed that the top of the grab rail is at seat level not above.

For the question of Rbike, The Ferret is right, it's the Givi chrome rack for cb 1100 with the Topcase B37 Blade Teck mono lock mount. About the level of the rack, be careful of the seat model ; it is the K&H high seat, about 4 cm (1,6 inches) higher than the Honda stock seat.

Bringing back memories !! I had the pleasure of learning how to ski in Andorra many years ago.
I can't imagine how wonderful it would be to ride a CB1100 around those parts. Thanks for sharing, look forward to seeing more.
