Poll: Limited or black 2017 tank?

[Ferrealls_imp]

Ok guys, here's my bike. I want to get a 2017 tank and I'm struggling between black and limited grey metallic. What do you think?

The black tank with the stripe looks best. Are you going to do the silver side panels?

If I go grey tank I'll paint the side panels to match, otherwise I'll probably leave them black.

LOL I think I'd leave it "as is", however that is not an option on the poll.

Why do you want a 17 tank just out of curiosity? Shape, capacity? get rid of the seams? all of the above?

The metallic gray is cool, but the striped black is what I’d get.
That being said; get the one that “talks to you”

Shape mostly, including the modern fill cap. I don't mind the seems on the old tank, but the 2017 does have better lines. Capacity isn't really a factor for me.

Or, maybe, possibly, it could be that it's winter and I've haven't been on my bike in 6 months so I feel like I need to be doing something with it, but that's really neither here nor there.

Another vote for leave it as is...

No point spending all that money for a shiny tank on a rat-rod.

No offense meant with rat rod, it is a style- and with that in mind, your bike is already pulling off the mad max vibe- no need to change.

If anything- both of those tanks would take away from the style unless you were going to matte black them- and if capacity isn't an issue- why bother?

I voted for the grey. The GT stripe on the RS does nothing for me.

I too like it as is! I don't think either new tank would be an improvement.

I voted Metallic Grey !! Can't wait to see either one though. !!

I vote black tank, but I also have to mention that that as one badazz looking bike as is.

Black one with the stripes does it for me.

Why not put a stripe and/or Honda emblem on the one you have?

It's not the color I'm after. It's the shape, and fill cap. Given enough time I'd probably end up going matte black with the new tank as well.

Neither that fill cap or the tanks shape match the rest of the bike. That flush cap is sport bike style. So buy a sport bike.

I voted for the gray but I think painting your original tank that color will look the best.
