The "REV'IT! Tornado 3 Jacket" is an awesome ventilated jacket that is AA abrasion rated and level 2 armor at shoulders and elbows. In white it really cuts the heat.

I've owned several "mesh" and warm weather jackets:
Alpinestars mesh, Joe Rocket mesh, Bohn Body Armor, Dianese perforated leather etc.
The great thing about perforated leather jackets is though its heavy, leather allows your sweat to build up under the jacket, so once you get moving, you get a lot of evaporation that really cools you down.
Mesh is great because the air flow. Evaporation happens quickly, but sometimes too quickly, as sweat dries up really fast.
This SkullRiderz jacket is all mesh. By far the "flowiest" jacket I've owned. Decent fit, good armor options. Downside is, long ship times (they drop-ship from Pakistan) ... But honestly, I wear this anytime the outside temp is above 75F. So where I live, that's all the time.

I bought the Joe Rocket Phoenix Ion Mesh (both jacket and pants) which works well for me. When the forecast is above 25C (77F), I usually switch to the mesh gear. It works well up to about 32C (90F). I have not yet had to ride in temps above 32C for any length of time. When temp drops below 23C (73F), I have to add the liner to the jacket.

I also have the pheonix ion pants from Joe rocket. I use them as overpants for daily commuting with my Joe rocket atomic 5.0 jacket.
So far I've ridden in colder weather (54°F not wet) and up to 95°F. It was warm in traffic but not intoulerable. Next week is supposed to be 101°F and I'm planning on riding the bike to and from the office, so we'll see how that goes.

I did have the zipper replaced in the black mesh jacket, and I'm glad I did. $40 and it's like a new jacket.
