Let's see your CB1100 out on the road!

Good work Matt, i like the light and the depth of field in the sunset one, what focal length did you use?
And i think i spotted the flash of the photographer in your visor in the last one, nice clean machine.

That looks like a pic in a bike magazine. You have to have a label on the side that says what boots, pants, jacket, and helmet you are wearing :P :D

I captured the sunset shot with my 85mm at f1.8, the shots of me riding were shot with a 70-200 f2.8 from a fellow local photographer.

You know, I've been meaning to install them for like 2 years now and have never got around to ordering a pair. Perhaps it's time.

Just finished the preparatories for the summer trip this year. The CB is packed and waits to go out on the road to Ireland. Try to start very early tomorrow on Sunday morning. It's a long way down from Kiel in Germany through the Netherlands and Belgium to Calais in France. Maybe I'll reach it in the beginning of the evening.

Wish you all a friendly summer and do the same, go out and travel with the CB.

Have a great time in Ireland

Beginning of this week, I tried to climb one of the passes of the Tour de France, not one of the highest, but among the steepest: the Grand Colombier. It's a nice narrow road, north of Le Bourget Lake. But the weather was not very favourable, contrasting with the heat wave that is very often present here this summer. A very strong north wind prevented any navigation of sailboats on the lake. It did not hurt too much for the motorcycle ride, but many clouds remained on the reliefs from 1200 m altitude. So we didn't complete the whole pass, we'll come back an other day!

Stopping before getting into the clouds, we had a great sight over The Rhone river and Le Bourget Lake:
