The oil temp light comes on at around 340 degrees according to the service manual. That's a bit high in my opinion.Flynrider_imp said:
I beleive the oil temperature sensor is located on the upper cylinder on the backside of engine. Tapped into the path of the oil flowing from the spark plug cooling circuit. So it seems the oil would be near its hottest point in engine
