Standard Public Service Announcement:

As we delve into this month's photo challenge, remember the dangers about placing a helmet on your seat. This is going back quite a few years, but seconds before I took this photo in Malibu Canyon, there was a helmet on the seat of my Nighthawk. A gust of wind took it over the embankment behind the bike to the rocks below.

I made it home on what was left of my lid and tossed it in the dumpster. Watch for winds when you take your challenge photo, and maybe don't take a photo on the edge of a cliff.

End of Standard Public Service Announcement.
That's why mine was on the centerstand when taking the pic.

Nice look and bikes =...but it doesn't count as per Ferret:

the only caveat being it has to be taken while out on a ride. Can't be in your garage or on your drive way. Background is unimportant although it would be nice if there was something interesting in the background too (but not necessary)

This almost doesn’t qualify since Off The Wall Cafe’ is considered my second home by some.

One more. From our Chamber of Commerce monthly car show. My company started sponsoring motorcycle parking/exhibiting last year. We should have 10-15 bikes here within the hour. It upsets the car guys because the MC parking is the only reserved parking. We sometimes have to explain that we paid $$$ to reserve the spots and the car guys don’t pay admission. It doesn’t usually pacify them. Lol.

Snapped this on the way home.
Shag is one of my favorite contemporary artists. When a new office complex went up in Tustin, he painted tall, vertical murals on the sides. The airship theme is a nod to the nearby blimp hangars.

I also dig them because they’re easily visible from the air when you’re landing at John Wayne.
