Heck, i was just going to roll my dead bike out of Mom's garage this morning, snap a pic, done deal.

But, the sun has decided not to come out, and the sky's grey. Boo!

Gone, I did this for you, but credited my account tho

[the Ferret]

 That's the spirit PB

[Gone in 60]

Thanks, PB. Sun’s coming out here, I might do the same!

PB - any video of it billowing exhaust into the arctic air?

Share with the Aussie folks.

This is the best I could do today >> 3F, wind 34mil/h, that feels like -9F, booo

Thanks for your kind reminder, but she's been parked in the opposite garage's corner, covered...I almost forgot of having one

I think it would be a great and rare opportunity never seen on the Forum before two (2) CB1100s side-by-side in the Arctic air billowing their exhaust while the engines idle at 2000 RPM.

Even better: Video capture it under the crisp night moonlight when it is potentially colder.

Just imagine PB the wonderful, white emissions from the whirling eight pistons singing in the winter night?

[peterbaron]

Yeah right, and then the CBs will have water accumulation in all three mufflers.
Thanks but no thanks.

You are supposed to ride 'em PB (with plug-in heated gear - hopefully) enough to prevent that.

[peterbaron]

The white one is a 4 season bike, not the DLX.

[GoldOxide_imp]

... yeah, too bad PB.

The two of them, side-by-side, whirling nicely away (making love) in one of the coldest days on the Forum during the year.

A missed opportunity for a very unique 2024 CB1100 Forum Calendar entry candidate.

Sooooo unique. Rare.

Sun's gettin' really low.

[peterbaron]

May not be missed for '24 ???

You may be right PB given there is alotta February left.

However, I hope you are wrong.

= = =

That said, you can use the possible warmer days of March when sometimes the snow banks are super high, but so is the day time temperatures.

Well that does capture more of the spirit of the challenge I grant

Well, here's my Dead in the Driveway photo. Was Hoping to get her home today, but even on the Optimate she wouldn't fire on the old battery.

No choice but to bring the new battery to the bike. Had to go home to get a bunch of things and bring them back to Mom's anyway. We'll try again tomorrow.

Glad it is where it needs to be Gone.

Yep, two early warnings and that is about it (even following a supposedly healthy smart recharge). Sounds pretty typical.

Nonetheless, soon you will forget these days for at least another three years.

If my 13 had had double walled chrome head pipes, I'd probably still be riding it.

50 miles at 40° and found some blue sky in the midst.
