Love the style of those bikes.

[PowerDubs_imp]

Yup. It is what I am styling my bike off of. Still need to get a 4-4 exhaust.

It's a good looking bike, Dubs.

[PowerDubs_imp]

Thank you.

Technically- in my heart it is more like my '82 Kawasaki LTD 750 (KZ trim package) that I had back when I was in the Army. Just with double the hp/tq and much more comfort and modern suspension, brakes, frame, heated grips, injection, etc.

It's got a wacky 10 speed transmission

[PowerDubs_imp]

Well- it has a 5-speed trans with a hi-low output

Is 85 mph really it top end?

[Lord Popgun]

You can thank Joan Claybrook for those 85MPH speedometers. Google her for details. Carter administration. Head of the NHTSA. Yeah, it was stupid.

Is 85 mph really it top end?

No, it would probably run 125-130 mph mph, but 85 is all the speedo will register. Claybrook's idea was people wouldn't run faster than their speedos would read. Stupid idea.

Nice bike , but do I really need another ?
