photoshop Windjammer V on CB1100

SWEET! Hope to see you accomplish this task?

Lol for those of that era,the Windjammer fairing was a revelation. Nothing before it made long distance travel so easy, so comfortable. At one time it was estimated that 50% of all the GoldWings on the road sported Windjammer fairings, also most of the other bikes that saw any touring duty from Honda 750s to Water Buffalo Suzukis, to KZ 900 Kawasaki's to Yamaha XS 11s and BMWs. My brother and I put them on every bike we owned for about 10 years. Just an outstanding invention for long distance riders, and really the impetus for all the manufacturers to bring out their own full dressed touring bikes.

Thread starter
Now I want to do some research and see if any of the "old" pipes still manufactured, by Kerker, Vance and Hines "chrome" will fit the 1100"s. They had em for 83 1100's maybe the engines are similar..... Need to find out the pipe diameters, spacing, etc, etc, These new pipes such as pipemasters, and ones in japan looking like the older 750 pipes are nice, but Jesus, Mary and Joseph not worth the money they want. You can still get older pipes on ebay for 500 and less, and probably make the bike run even with the smog crap on there.... We'll see.............. going to make my barcket this weekend, set up painting and Wolaaa! Custom matched Vetter Fairing in Honda Graphite black, Red, Grey just like on tank. Thanks for all the good feedback. RNR53, PS.... I think the bike will handle just fine with it too, if I want to canyon race I'll buy a crotch rocket !:biker:

So, yeah Honda. Howz about a full-dresser CB1100?
:exclamation: Haven't you been paying attention to the other thread? The CB is not a touring bike! :P
Mmmmmm. After 55000 kms I reckon it doesn't do too bad a job. And that is with only a Dart Flyscreen.

All that is missing is a 3 ft. tall sissy bar :D

Like so :
I loved my sissy bar! Especially the zip on pouch on the back, that would hold a 12 pack ;-) (This is an actual photo of my 750)

Very cool, Offroad! You even have the period correct crash bar on there. All that your CB750 was missing was a Windjammer :D

My KZ1000 with a Jammer with lowers in 1977 on our way to Florida. Notice the covers on the instruments (my invention) to keep the instrument lights glow out of the windshield at night. I made a set for my brothers GoldWing too. He rode it to a Wing rally. The Honda rep at the rally asked him them about them. 2 years later Honda brought out their own cover on the Honda Goldwing Interstate.

I hope you got a royalty.
