Added the DART Marlin flyscreen today
One little aspect of the install not mentioned in the instructions is when you remove the headlight mounting bolts the little nut inside the headlight case will fall away, so disassembly of the headlight is necessary. Got 'er all put together in about an hour.
Rode at 80mph before and after the screen added with an open face helmet.
I gotta admit the all the screen seems to do is increase the velocity of the airstream up on the face and shoulders, with quite howly wind noise. I do like the way it looks and it oughta capture some bugs for me.
I've used the standard DART flyscreen on a MG V7 Stone, Triumph Scrambler with fair results. But I will need to ride with a full face helmet to cut the windblast on the face on this one.

Lol its a little screen. Air control is directly proportional to the size of the screen. There are no little screens that do a big screens job. A small screen will relieve air pressure on the chest, but will do nothing for the head..in other words for high speed riding, anything over 65 mph, yes a full face helmet will come in very handy

On my '13 the nut is built into a metal cable tie and tends to stay in place. Maybe the '14s are different, or maybe ABS bikes are.

Same here, but mine did not stay.
And my gosh, Honda packs ALOT of wires/connectors inside that headlight casing!! Crammed full.

I don't have a screen on my CB and have never really ridden with one until riding the ST in the U.S. recently. Other than raising the screen to its maximum height, it was much noisier than riding with our a screen at all as it deflects the air up off your chest and straight into your helmet. Even when I raised it to the point where air was deflected to the top of my helmet it was noisy.
It came into its own in the rain, but I don't think I'll be putting one on the CB any time soon.

RE: Added the DART Marlin flyscreen today
The full face SHOEI helmet did the trick, wind noise is elevated but zero buffeting at 85+ mph, the problem I had was the open face, no visor helmet was catching the wind and pulling my head back, the aerodynamic Shoei allows you to slice it.
Still not ruling out going to the standard DART flyscreen. It tends to push the air up higher, the Marlin has a curve on the top edge that directs the airflow more straight back into the rider.
