Motech part numbers
#1

I’m swapping my risers for a more upright riding position and have decided on the Motech Barbacks. They have a more rounded look than the GENMARs. Only problem is that despite seeing them in many threads here, the part numbers I’ve found indicate that they DONT fit my 2013.

These are the risers I’m looking for

The part number I have is this from the 2tmoto site but it says 2016 models and up?

That is an interesting question. The part fiche shows the OEM Handlebar holder Lower part number the same for the ‘13 ‘14, and ‘17 standard model. The handlebar part numbers are different. That makes sense as the holes for the control assm pins are different. Diameter is the same.

I used partsfish.com for reference

Since the part numbers are the same for ‘13 and ‘14 and ‘17 I don’t see why they won’t work. Unless they are worried about cable length.

Maybe someone else can shed some light on this.

Hi, Skypilot! I installed Rox 2 inch risers with vibration dampener.. I was after the vibration dampening rather than the riser, so I installed CB500f handlebars to retain approximately the same ergos as stock. At the time, I felt it would have been a stretch (pun intended) to try to use the original bars, so as popgun says, cable length may be an issue

Hmm. Any of the forum members that are running these motechs able to chime in? Redbirds and Pdese both have threads that don’t indicate any cable/line length issues.
