Just a heads up if anyone didn't know or experience information to the effect that 100% do not use ANY valve extension on your wheel unless you have a metal valve stem. I had (on my RV) a rubber valve stem "explode" open on the shaft - split horizontally because I had a simple 2" 45 degree extender attached. No need for long story, but my metal valve stem was replaced without my knowledge. As I did some investigating, some on MCs use them. - DON'T unless you upgrade valve stem to metal!

I looked for 90 degree stem extenders in every auto parts store around, and there are plenty of them around here, couldn't find one. Didn't want to get online. I wanted to put it on when I checked air and not leave on permanently. Finally found an extender, but it's a truck tire extender, meant to be mounted and left there. It must be screwed on every time. It's cumbersome, but works.

Thank you for your advise , I do not use extenders as the flexible head on my Milton air inflator is easy to use.

As per Ferret's advice I had Kurveygirl angled stems installed when I had the tires changed.

Yeah, good advice. I work around a lot of trucks and trailers and have seen some tire failures from broken valve stems. I had 90 degree stems put on as well with my recent tire change.
