Oil Eater as effective cleaning agent

I was about to buy some S100 at a bike dealer that cost $14.00 a quart, then find out I have some Oil Eater I used on my car engine yrs ago. Just use it on my bike wheels, work wonder, at 3K these wheels are covered with grim, tar, bug and oil chain --> now clean with minimal effort The center stand are bad, covered with all the chain oil --> now clean with few swipes.

It is noncorrosive, nontoxic, can be used as full strength, or diluted for general cleaning car / bikes. Even clean your dirty clothes or kitchen counter top. It is an oil eater and general household cleaning.

I use Simple Green and have for years. Spray on full strength, rinse quickly and towel dry. Works great. $9.00 per gallon.

Just remember that these chemicals will eat up the o rings on your chain. I learned that the hard way. After 20 some years of owning BMWs I bought a VStrom. Gave the bike a good cleaning with Simple Green. A month or so later my chain started kinking with only 7000 miles on it. Puzzle??? until I read up on the new-to me- o ring chains and found that de-greasers, etc will tear up the rings. So it was new sprockets and chain for me and no problems after that. I have a Yamaha FZ1 with 28000 miles on it and original chain.
