protective tank tape

My CB came from the previous owner with what looks like strategically placed protective adhesive patches on the tank. It looks like it's done its job. I just wonder if can be safely removed and replaced as it wear out. I don't want the protective stuff to damage the finish.

Most likely the film is this or from another supplier: https://thetankslapper.biz/

It should come off easily. You could use a spray bottle of water/alcohol mix to help ease it off and a little heat if necessary from a hair dryer. Mine comes right off and is reusable.

Read some on the tankslapper site and see what you think.
