Okay, pictures say more than words so I wont even make an effort to waist much words on this bike
I refer to my findings here on the 15th of May:
Now I inspected the bike and indeed the black stuff returned, so there must be a leak somwhere in that area.

I expect to deliver the bike again at the dealers at the end of the month/begin July when a new IACV sensor comes in, but meanwhile I will contact him about this "new issue" so he can have a look at that as well when I bring the bike in.
PS: I do notice that my oil level did actually drop, so I assume its because of that leak because these bikes dont drink oil according to common knowledge huh.

Looks like a warranty issue. Oil leaks are quite dangerous on a motorcycle, should not have much trouble getting it repaired. These bikes do use oil for the first few thousand miles. Mine's finally to the point where it is down to pretty much nil, 8500 miles. Switched to a full synthetic.

the leak is very tiny and goes on very slowly, it certainly is not pouring liquid...its more gooey and greasy, especially on that cable that runs in that area there a lot of black greasy dirt/oil sticking on...
the leak is so slow that after a months riding this is the result.

Still you shoud get it repaired under warranty.

of course, contacted the dealer asap and he replied asap as well, no problems or fuss
i just hope this will be the end of the issues list

hmm I can pick up my bike now from the dealer after inspecting the cluttered black stuff and repairing my idle issues, about the clutter they said its no oil leak, but its remanence of chain grease and because of the heat of the engine it can become liquid, but it certainly was no oil....

After moving to the country 23 years ago, fronting on a dirt road of mostly clay and sand, I was under the mistaken impression that I needed to lube the chain more often on my Kawasaki. I was liberally applying petroleum based chain lube at least twice a week and soon developed what I thought to be an oil leak. Turned out it was the oily grunge buildup from under the engine sprocket cover. I also learned that heavy use of the petroleum based chain lube created a greasy, gritty paste that quickly destroyed both sprockets and chain in less than 5000 miles.

This sounds all too familiar.
I had a chain lube buildup on my Bonneville and eventually heat from the engine caused it to soften and weep down like an oil leak.
Now I remove the cover a couple of times a summer and clean out any clump of lube that may be under there.

My Bonnie did that too. looked horrible, but it was nothing to worry about. Sure made a mess of that engne case though lol
