Coin in right side of throttle body
#1
Trying to figure out why a previous owner stuck at quarter in the space on the right side of the throttle body. Looking at parts fiches and the shop manual doesn't give me a clue what is behind it (or why). Pity the coin doesn't match the bike's year (2014).

Any guesses for a practical reason for having done that?

Just an empty blank-off plate where a quarter will fit. Darn. Now all the other kids will be doin' that too.

It was a thing on the board here for a while. Members would put their state’s coin or one that meant something to them in that spot.

I think this is where it started with the_undecider in 2015
