Coin in right side of throttle body - slackerdeluxe_imp - 04-09-2022 Trying to figure out why a previous owner stuck at quarter in the space on the right side of the throttle body. Looking at parts fiches and the shop manual doesn't give me a clue what is behind it (or why). Pity the coin doesn't match the bike's year (2014). Any guesses for a practical reason for having done that? RE: Coin in right side of throttle body - pekingduck - 04-09-2022 Just an empty blank-off plate where a quarter will fit. Darn. Now all the other kids will be doin' that too. RE: Coin in right side of throttle body - Lord Popgun - 04-09-2022 It was a thing on the board here for a while. Members would put their state’s coin or one that meant something to them in that spot. RE: Coin in right side of throttle body - the Ferret - 04-09-2022 guessing it was a member from N Dakota? I think this is where it started with the_undecider in 2015 http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7297&highlight=coin RE: Coin in right side of throttle body - Nachodaddy - 04-09-2022 Cool. Now to find something original to put in there. RE: Coin in right side of throttle body - Cormanus - 04-09-2022 I wonder who the previous owner was?
