I bent my key for my 2013 CB 1100. Honda wants $40 for a new blank. I tried a few key shops, but none of them had a generic blank that fits. Anybody know of any options other than the OEM Key blank from Honda?
Thanks,
Bernie

I'm pretty sure this doesn't apply in North America, but double check your bike doesn't have HISS 2 ignition, or your newly cut spare won't have you doing anything other than taking off the seat and steering lock.

My new bike one key was bent when I bought it. They ordered me a new one. It's in now but I ordered me a 2014 service manual so I will pick up both next week some times.

My 1st key lasted about 3 hrs. before I bent it. You didn't happen to leave it in the helmet lock, did you?
I went to the key shop at Ace Hardware. They had to order a blank, but it showed up in the following week and they cut it for me. Total price was about $5.

That's exactly how I bent it. Was backing it into the place I park it in the garage. I had removed the seat so I could hook up the battery tender. Left the key in the homer lock and hit the key with my hip.
Thanks for the replies and the contacts where to get a blank.

That's a good price on eBay for 2 keys.
