I've owned a few Hondas and I notice all of their shifters are pretty tight and small. Probably since most people in Asia are not a size 13 boot. Has anyone done and mods or is there a longer shifter available for the cb? I think I'd be pretty happy if I could just find a longer shifter that would let my boot slip under it easier. Not worried about lowering it.

I have size 12 and I purchased footpegs that drop down and move 360 degrees. I have the pegs adjusted to that they are more towards the rear, giving me more room between pegs and lever.

Size 13 here. I found adjusting the shift linkage to raise the lever a bit helped some. Raise it too much and bending your ankle to get on top may be an issue. Small increments are best. Stick a 10mm wrench in your pocket and make adjustments on your ride. Free and easy mods are always the best, if they work.
I bought the TSR Sport Pegs from Samurider and found the narrower profile to ease my foot being able to pivot and this slightly increases the space between peg and shifter. Here are my impressions:

The adjustable pivoting mounts can be purchased here:

I bought the adjustable, lower foot pegs on eBay. Search under: "CB1100 LOWER FOOTPEGS". There's a bunch on there & most of them swivel so you can move them down & back. My came from Asia & were a perfect fit using the existing pivot pin .

I bought them from a Japanese site and had no problem. Very happy with them. Cost around $85-90 including shipping.

Quality is top-notch, I bought the red ones and I am very happy with the pegs. I bought some from China before, and IMO these are better engineered. The metal appears to be of a higher quality but I am not an expert in this arena.
