You Guys are Lucky
#1
The past few morning I have gone to the Ninga 1000 site only to find 2 or 3 post from my last visit. They have about 600 members but not as active as this board, so I click on today posts here along with my coffee for my reading therapy. What a great active forum we have here, never take it for granted.

I know. As a mod when I click on in the morning I look for thread report notices (Ferret this is spam delete it, Ferret this is bad language etc, Ferret this is argumentative ..etc), then Private Messages (Ferret what do you think about this?, What day are you coming to the rally?..etc), and then see how many highlighted "new posts" I have to read that were made fresh while I slept. Usually none of the first, 1 or 2 of the second, and a whole page of the last.

Good and active. You guys are the best!

The R9T forum is active but far from informative or entertaining. The most active is the "Punted Post Thread" where anything out of line or off topic goes. I do check the classified's and some of the mod pictures.

This what makes this forum so great; the civility, good humor and participation Clap
I also belong to a couple of other forums with large memberships, but the posting is sparse.
Like ferret, every morning I usually have about two pages of posts to check out - and that's a good thing - to quote you-know-who Big Grin

CIP proves once again that with green comes envy. ROFL

Seriously, though, this is a great forum and it I think what makes it great is that it goes beyond being a parts, modifications, and technical resource like so many bike forums are. The personal interaction, like the wonderful ride reports that take us together all over the world on this motorcycle, is the difference maker, I think. This forum is not just a resource, it's a communit, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Nicely said, ES. Me too.

Off topic a bit: I really like the look of that tachometer CIP.

I get up in the morning and start the coffee maker. Then I sit with a cup of brew and check the latest forum posts. Makes a wonderful start to my day.

I can report the same feelings about the ZX14 board..
It's a fine board, but it would have been a lot more interesting to me if I were 30 years younger..

Hey CIP, thanks for this note. It is honestly appreciated.

A couple of thoughts:
1.) I'm glad that you're sticking around this place!
2.) The Ninja 1000 forum is lucky to have you, maybe you can help bring up the overall interest level. Your participation sure can't hurt.
