So, just back home from a work trip to LA, stayed in Long Beach. I cycled the beach cycle path down to Huntingdon where there was a surfing competition in progress and it was very busy. Surf was slack though. Anyway, part of this ride was on the PCH, only a short stretch, and I saw loads of motorcycles ... mainly Harleys and Triumphs ... but nooooooo CB's!!
Was disappointed, hoped to flag someone down and have a chinwag !!
Next time will hire a motorbike and ride somewhere, I hear Malibu is very pretty but would like to get up into the hills also ?

I worked in Long Beach for 38 years......used to wait until 8pm then we would ride PCH from Rancho Palos Verdes to Dana Point and back.....of course it was in the summer and the moon would illuminate the waves breaking....awesome riding....

My cousin lives on Via Rivera in Palos Verdes Estates, right across the street from the ocean. It's fun to hang out on her front lawn and watch the world go by.

I know that street! My wife and I ride to the ocean, park the bike above Torrance beach, sit on the benches along the sidewalk and have our lunch and watch the surfers.....extremely relaxing....

I'm in Huntington on the bike path you mentioned quite often - I was there the day of the Open, in fact, so you passed right by me at some point! - and ironically, the only two CBs I've seen on the road so far were right there (at the stoplight at PCH and Warner, to be exact).

I've still yet to see another in person. I lived in long beach a while but Buena Park now.
