Anyone here using EBC or just stock Honda replacements?

I use Brembo sinter. Used it for my CB1100 '13 and for my CBF1000F, which has the same brakes like the CB1100 '13 ABS.

I went with stock. The original pads had good initial bite and plenty of stopping power.

I use the EBC HH pads front and rear, on my last bike I got around 10-12,000 miles out of a set of pads, but I also use the CB to commute in LA traffic (20,000 miles last year!)

Did you guys notice the rear pad wear out faster compare to other bikes? My experience with other bike pad life is about 2 set of front to 1 set of rear. But my CB1100 somehow is equally wear for front and back.

I changed the front and rear pads on mine at 18K miles and the rears were hardly worn, the front pads still had plenty of wear left. Much depends on where and how you ride I think. Nearly all my riding is on rural back roads and mostly flat terrain. Brake pads on my P/U truck were good for 97K miles when changed and still had a safe pad surface. When I lived in the city 30 years ago I was lucky to get 20K miles on the P/U before the pads were worn out.

Changed rear pads at 30.000km and again at 60.000km. Front pads at 60.000km for the first time. Use the rear brake more often. Like the CBS and its smooth braking without a diving fork when only the rear brake is used.
