Does anyone installed Motogadget gauge into CB1100?
I have CB1100RS and trying to installe Motogadget Motoscope Tiny.
when I drive as pluging off the original gauges,it didn’t work well…
The problem might be rev limiter(Japanese edition all have it)
Please help me out…

There is not enough information here. How, exactly did you hook it up? The installation instructions give some warnings about sensor hookup that seem to indicate it won't work with our bikes.
How are you handling the serial data interface between the meters and the ECU?
Know that everyone that has tried to use gauges like this have reported problems. Some said they got it to work, at least some, but never responded with how exactly they did.
Maybe Max can help more. Max?

It would be useful to know, or at least have a protocol trace of the set-up and command signaling to the instrument cluster. Of course once one has that, one could mount a business case to interface with Honda's main controller.
Without it, the effort is blind.

Is Tiny supposed to replace both gauges and console? If so, it looks like a downgrade in every way possible?

Here is what the info presents, it is essentially an adapted voltmeter which translates pulses into a speedo reading very much like the digital gizmo on a bicycle with a magnet on the wheel and a "reed contact" as the sensor.
The reed switch closes as the magnetic field becomes strong enough and opens when the lower threshold is reached, it's a switch.
and this unit operates completely independent of the original cb1100 instrument cluster.
The pdf wants you to connect the "speed sensor" between positive and the orange input wire;
pdf link;
https://motogadget.com/shop/media/downlo...en_1.5.pdf
But the website indicates to connect between GROUND and the orange input wire;
This video also suggests to use orange and ground;

So you have to test the version that works for you, quick way to test the speedo is to pretend you are the wheel and present the magnet to the sensor twice per second and watch the speedo respond, once the system works install the sensor/magnet in a place where it works best.

Sorry for my poor explanation.
The problem is that when I drive as plug all original gauges off , rev limiter activates in low RPM range then it doesn't increase the speedo as usual.
I thought we could solve this problem to add limiter removal kit and we asked the company who is dealing with limiter removal kit,
but they said recent bike is connecting gauges to ECU so if we remove the original gauges, it cause some malfunctioning somehow so they do not recommend swapping guages.
Actually I found some CB with external gauges on instagram so there might be a solution I guess
My problem is exactly the same as 「Instrument Cluster」thread on #24 post.
I'll give Your kindly info so far to the shop guy who takes care of my CB on a daily basis for now.

Hey There! CB 1100 RS owner here, as well! One thing I can say is that I also thought to do that, when I first bought the bike, because I find the original gauges quite bulky, but I was strongly advised to avoid that due to several electronic problems and warranty loss... Tell us if you can solve the problem. I pretty curious about that...
