Triumph Bonneville 904 roll ons with CB1100
#1
I own both a loaded down with luggage CB1100 and a loaded down with luggage Bonnie with 904cc big bore with CR 35 carbs. We did roll ons onlysince I have not had the 6500 rpm rev limiter fixed yet. 75 m.p.h. roll on the Bonnie pulls a bike length for a few seconds then here comes the CB passing and pulling away, 60 ,50, & 40 m.p.h. roll ons the CB slowly pulls away.? The Bonnie had its luggage bags fullnandvthe CB 11 had empty H/B 42L side bags and 36L Coocase trunk mostly empty.

I'll say what the drag racers would say. "It must have been the rider!"
I was thinking that the last time a "Bonnie" won a drag was way back in 1966 when the Triumphs used to pick on the Honda 305 Superhawks and Scramblers...

Jamboa, can you post pics of the Bonnie and the CB side by side?..My wife likes the T100 and I like the CB1100...I'm trying to convince her that the Honda is a lot prettier...lol

The T100 is a pretty bike. The flat slab seat looks odd but feels very good. The motor has very little personality and not that much poop compared the the CB1100.

It's a good bike, but in my opinion the CB is a better machine. But it does kinda depend on what you want to do with it. After all the Bonnie is a twin and twins have a certain attractiveness. I prefer V twins but have not test road any of the new Honda vertical twins.

But hey, buy both! Smile

The Honda is definetly a looker. But the Bonnie seems to get most of the attention...

I've ridden the bonnie. Nice ergos, loved the seat (short ride) but the motor is very uninspiring. Good bike but for me a Moto Guzzi V7 or the CB1100 are better choices.
