I wonder how many 2013 CB1100s have been sold

I have yet to see any other CBs on the road. Kinda cool having a bike that very few others have....it gets a lot of attention from the curious folks too.

Then my next question would be: How many do they have to sell to make it worth keeping the bikes in their US lineup? I would hate to see the CB1100 go the way of the W650. It might actually factor into my plan on whether or not to purchase one. If they MIGHT be discontinued, I would kick myself for not getting one. Wish I could afford to buy every bike I want.

The W650 is one of the hardest bikes to buy...in great part due to their "rare bike" status. And they have a reputation as a "better Bonneville than a Bonneville."

If the CB is only sold for 1 year, it'll certainly be rare, and it's already a "better CB750 than the CB750." If you know what I mean...

I was at a Yamaha shop today lots of folks there, in general conversation no one there has seen one in person...............a rare breed to say the least.

Since the CB750 was the Bonneviller killer then I'm going to assume the CB1100 is also better than the Bonneville; but in sales. Looks like this time around the Bonneville is still ahead. The Fat Lady has not sung yet, but I hear her clearing her throat.

I have only seen one CB1100 on the streets. It was in my hometown of Evansville WI. I was in my work truck and tried to catch the rider but alas he alluded me. I am guessing it was my neighbor to the north of me, CA200, cuz it was two up with a huge plexifaring on it. I think CA200 and his wife ride a lot.

Well he's got a heck of a story now about the day back in '14 when he got away from some pschyo in a truck. "Yep boys, i was on my trusty CB1100 when some guy started chasing me. Maybe I cut him off, maybe he just hates Hondas, maybe its because I'm not Black. Thanks to the power and handling of the CB, I left him in the weeds. Luckily I got his company name and called the President to complain."

I'm in the eastern panhandle of WV, close to DC & Baltimore, and I work i VA. I've seen one other CB and that was going the opposite direction on I-81 one morning. The shop where I bought mine in VA closed suddenly (domestic conflict from what rumors spread) but the two other Honda shops within riding distance both have CBs on the floor.

They're still pretty rare around here. Haven't seen one in the wild yet.

I stopped to get a cup of coffee yesterday morning and parked near an older Gold Wing. While I was standing there the GW owner was leaving. He looked the CB over and said "They sure don't make 'em like that anymore." I had to chuckle and reply, "Yes, they do!"
