Yep, just took this picture for you a few minutes ago. also the sprocket cover appeared to be metal to me.

Yes, that is an unsold '13 in the background. It has been there for a while now.

I agree Ferret, the sprocket cover is aluminum on the black standard. The salesman gave me a hard time for tapping on the cover Big Grin.

Interesting... engine weight increases only 1.3 lb.

The additional weight must come more from the extra gas (0.7gal) and the exhaust pipes (we know the '13 can was pretty heavy).

There is an unsold 2013 up here in Syracuse as well. I mentioned maybe putting some lever knob end covers may attract some attention to it. They had lots of nice shiny new rides, and were unloading more. Don't think they ordered any 2014s for stock, could be wrong. I'd like to see one too, if only to check what blacked out parts would fit mine.

I'd like to know the story behind the fuel pump flow rates. Those are substantially different.

Most interesting is the DLX fork fluid level. Normally, forks will have identical fluid levels unless there is something about the system that is different. The only one that comes to mind is the TRAC anti-dive system that Honda used on their 80s Nighthawks. That required more fluid on the left side than the right. Anybody heard anything about a gizmo in the DLX fork system??
