2014 deluxe vin #142 motor #1820
That's a big gap! I think the first low # motors went in the 2014 standards can y'all post vin and motor # and say standard or deluxe? Let's see what we find here

Is there any chance the engine # is picking up where the '13s ended? How many 2013s were produced?

Shdwghst457: could be where the 13 left off from. We will know when some of the standard bikes post. Honda starts new #, s each year but could be different on the cb1100.

Avsbezzy: yours about 900 different from vin the rest I have seen around 1,600 different. We will see as people post. I think they will average around 1000 different from vin. Another member just got his deluxe today vin I think 2 or 3 higher than mine and his motor # very close to mine. This will tell us a lot at the end of the year!

The engine number is stamped on the bottom part of the engine so that got me thinking it could the part used on a different bike also, like the cb1300...that has also 6 speeds.'.
