All is good. I do like the sportier WRX that handles the snow, but with similarities in regards to the Harley Davidson thread, I'm not trying to portray an image of the "typical" WRX owner. I just happen to like the cars qualities. It's not the fastest thing on the road and I don't treat it as such, nor do I drive it like the younger generations do.
I am enjoying life and appreciating my fortunes of both physical items and my health, even get to participate here on the forum and read the tales of even your trips, which I really enjoy. I saw an opportunity to make light of what I thought was a funny situation in regards to the WRX and couldn't pass it up to have a little laugh - and even throw out yet another picture of my CB1100. If I get the chance to get to Australia, I will certainly let you guys know, and if your getting the first beer, I'll buy the second!
I am not a good drag racer, and for me to race the CB, I would be doing it an injustice, so not trying to jack the thread any further, I will say I appreciate the fact you represented the CB world. We all have moments of wild behavior in one manner or another. I personally am not here to judge anyone, just here to read about interesting things being done on or to a CB1100 by interesting people. Life is too short not to enjoy it and smile once in a while.

33200kms. Rear brakes below the indicator line and fronts with just a smidgin showing. But your right, good opportunity to change all. I put sintered on the fronts and organic on the rear. Any comments?

Just under 21,000 miles if I figure right. I think that is good.
You will have to let us know how the two different pads work out. Ive always felt the rear on these could use a little more bite. Fronts are plenty strong.

Its undergoing a mod over the next few days. I will have it posted once it is complete, and update.

I still think the CB is not the strongest and fastest but it would suprise a lot of cars. I also fully understand the urge to kill the Holden. You did nothing wrong. Just play it safe and have fun:-)

The WRX guys in my neck of the woods are generally cool. The backwards ball caps are on the yahoos driving dropped "tuner" cars that are so low the wheels are 30 degrees off kilter, the frames are slamming the pavement at the slightest bump, and the fenders are dinged and flapping from the wheels pounding the inside. Dipsticks.

Saw that recently. What's with the camber overkill? I think the car I saw it on was a plastidipped C-klasse.
Maybe they really want to wear out the tires sooner?

Alright ... I actually know why some run the aggressive camber, and not because I looked into doing it. haha No seriously.
In order to run a wider rim and tire, with a lowered car, they can get away with going wider than normally allowed, by changinging the angle for clearance. To sort of "tuck" the top of the tire wheel inside the fender.

Or they don't want to spend the money to properly lower their car. The people I see with the camber overkill are the same people who buy wide rims and stretch narrow tires over them. Your tire's sidewall isn't supposed to be at a 45 degree angle from the rim, but it's cheaper than a proper sized tire. I avoid riding near these people like I avoid people with obviously low tire pressure on one of their tires. I don't want to be near them in an emergency situation, they clearly don't maintain their vehicles.

Well, I for one wear my ball cap both ways, forward when I need protection from the sun's rays, backwards when I'm using my camera or peeping in windows....
