You can add me to that list. Getting gas somewhere in Kentucky, either near London or Corbin, a guy comes up to me and says " '83, right?".

I went on a Saturday ride with a Meet UP group. I had never met any of the 12 other riders. There's a mix of Harley, Yamaha, BMWs, and a Spyder in the group. When I pulled into the parking lot that we were going to set off on the ride from, Everyone stopped talking to each other and turned and watched me enter and park. I thought it was that they were looking at who the new rider was. After I parked a few of them came over and admired the CB. They said "We were all looking at your CB as you arrived." They seem to all know it was the new CB model.

When I purchased my CB 1100 I actually picked it up from a dealer in north Georgia and transferred it to my dealer for prep and paperwork. Saved $250.00 by doing transfer as opposed to dealer. As I was pulling into my dealers parking lot with the CB in tow on a trailer I noticed a vehicle behind me suddenly slowed down and turned in right by behind me. This gentleman got out of his vehicle and proceeded to walk around my trailer looking at the bike. His first question was what year? I replied 2014. He said when he first saw the bike he thought it was a re-furbished CB 750 and he just had to stop and take a look. He then made a comment about owning a CB 750 many years ago. we talked briefly and his last comment to me was "that's what a motorcycle is supposed to look like".

My bike seems to draw a crowd when parked near other bikes and I have gotten the "what year is it?" a few times. I stopped at a shop for something and on my way out, spotted a 70s CB750. Before I could ask what year, the guy said it was a 73. Then, a guy rode up on a FJR and started asking me about my bike.
