The move to TX is becoming a reality. I have officially retired as of yesterday 7/22. Our house is sold and we have to be out by 8/10 or pay a stiff rate for every day after that. We have put in an offer on a great house in Azle, TX, close to Eagle Mountain Lake. I donated the Suzi to charity and am taking the CB with me.

Congratulations, Charlie Bravo. Any sailing to be had on the lakes at Azle?

Bought my first motorcycle in San Antonio and had many great rides in the hill country. Beautiful place to ride. I know you will enjoy it. Looking forward to some great pictures.

Yes, I am happy to say there is! I've seen pictures of marinas full of sailboats, and I am in the market for something along the lines of an 18ft Marshall catboat. Our offer on the house was accepted and it has an RV pad near the garage for a boat. I might go halves with my son on a 16-18ft fishing boat, too. The Grandsons will love the lake, too.
Thanks to all for your good wishes. If you're ever in the neighborhood.....
