Anyone know if the 2014 dlx fuel tank would fit on a 2013 cb1100? Since the 2014 standard cb1100 tank has the same capacity as the tank on the 2013, and my bet is the frame of the 2014's does not differ between the standard and the dlx I think this swap could be done. Still, it would be nice to know for sure. This would be a way, though not cheap, to increase the range of the 2013. And the tank would stay red.

And can you retain the '13 seat with that '14 bigger tank. Is it just wider, taller, or even longer? A DLX tank would be cool, and red!

Just keep in mind that the '14 DLX red is a slightly different shade than the '13 red color. Shouldn't make any difference unless you decide to get other matching red parts (headlight housing, side panels, etc...).
The '13 color is Candy Glory Red and the '14 color is Candy Alizarin Red.
