I can't relate to what the motogp guys do on a bike. It's just beyond my comprehension. On the other hand, while I defiantly can't play golf like Jordan Spieth, I can watch his swing mechanics and his attitude. Plus, I love watching The Masters because spring has not fully bloomed up north and the azaleas and dogwoods and the splendor that is Augusta National marks the true beginning of spring to me.
Oh...and I can barely affor my motorcycle, so there's no DVR here.

Back to topic I rode 66 miles this morning and another 30 tonight after dinner. Stopped several times to listen to bike. No weird noises I could pick up on.

I'm guessing that if existent, the problem Ghis describes is only going to show itself within about the first five to ten minutes of riding. Chances are that you wouldn't really notice it before or after that time period.

I heard the noise for the first time today as well, although it took nearly 2500 miles for the planets to align. I'm usually riding it after a minute anyways so that may be why I never noticed it. Regardless of the actual problem, I am glad that its not just mine after seeing this post.

Once fully warm, it's gone. (04-12-2015, 11:08 AM)MFGUSA_imp Wrote: I heard the noise for the first time today as well, although it took nearly 2500 miles for the planets to align. If I hadn't been monkeying in the garage while letting the bike warm up more than necessary, I would never had heard it myself. |
