Welcome and I hope you like the bike. As to the price, think of it as buying a piece of art--the value is completely subjective. you got a good deal.

Amen! Bring some popcorn and stand back and enjoy the show as they scurry from one side of the bike to the other and then to the rear trying to figure it out!

the price before tax + tag = $9,000; i know i probably left some money on the table, but the same dealership owns bmw, ducati & kawasaki and i got to demo all the bikes (or maybe it is just my rationalization on getting ripped off Smile )

thanks all, will keep you posted on the first ride etc...

Congratulations!!! You are a wise man. Thumbs Up

It really is a good solid simple bike. Not too fancy, maintenance is easy and parts aren't outrageously expensive. Farkles limited but I prefer to spend my money on filling the tank.
Enjoy.

I agree. I've got an '08 Concours 14 and I had a Vulcan 900 Custom that I traded in on the CB. The Honda felt like a Grom to me in comparison.

There are actually a surprising number of Farkles available in the aftermarket if you start digging. Samurider and WebBike are two good places to start looking, and an increasing number of US based importers as well.
