Sorry to hear about your mishap but glad you were not actually on the bike at the time. Metal is easily fixed or replaced. Skin and bones not so much.

Glad you're OK, Hiram. Infuriating when that happens. But, given what you'd ridden through, imagine how very much worse it could have been.

Losing my virginity was more exciting but i guess in both cases we were able to get it up and park it in the garage.

I didn't read that your kickstand sunk into the ground. Did it? There are 'how to's' on picking your bike up and it all has to do with leverage and your handlebars but they will sink into soft dirt when you aren't looking. I remember a friends brand new Z1R was curiously close to the ground but not all the way when his kickstand sunk. It was a strange site with the bike canted over so far.
