Does anyone on this forum have the Daytona:Cozy seat 70’s style seat on their bike? Just curious of how they like it and any feedback they would be willing to give. Here's the link: http://www.samurider.com/?p=11351/#itemImage

That's a perfect looking seat. Under $400 according to the currency calculator but I'm scared to ask about shipping.

I love this seat! It raises you about an inch (which I like) and is very comfortable. It looks great too. Changing to this seat was the single best mod I've done on the CB.

Shipping was not bad at all and I received from Japan in a week!

In the pictures I've seen the entire seat seems to be sloping down hill towards the gas tank. Do you feel that it is sloped down like the stock seat? It looks nice and wide in the middle. Is it wider than the stock seat? Does the seat clear the aluminum side rails on either side? I appreciate any info you could give me.

I have the Daytona seat, and consider it to be an improvement over stock. I'm 6'2" tall, 205# and a 34-inch inseam. I don't think it is wider but it is taller. I haven't noticed any slope. It goes on/off easily. It was easy to find a local artist to re-create the silver Honda logo on the back.

If you buy one from Mr. T, make sure to pay the extra $8 to buy the rubber "bumpers". It doesn't come "with" them and you'll have to borrow them from your OEM seat if you don't. In fact, order two sets. Of bumpers and I'll buy one from you since I didn't know that when I bought mine. BeerBeer

Oly, those bumpers are available through your dealer too.

Given the published seat height it shouldn't be raising you up at all as it closely matches stock seat height. Maybe the more cush feel gives the impression you sit higher up? Or it doesn't compress as much as the squishy factory seat.
