I would replace them while the wheels are off. But I would have rode it to 10,000 miles than taken them off. I like even numbers. That will be my goal on tires...

Gosh...those tires don't look THAT bad. Sure, they're in need of replacement, but for casual riding in nice weather, they're not at critical-level yet.

Have you decided what kind yet?
I will be getting the PR3s. I like the idea of the harder compound on the center strip. Maybe I'll get twelve out of them.

There are a few nicks and gouges that made me feel like it was time to not push my luck.
