Does your CB1100 vibrate?

If a machine does not vibrate when it's running, I have no interest in riding it.

I have a friend whose wife wouldn't let him replace their washing machine for this exact reason.

When a HD pulls up next to me at a stop light and I see that engine shake and the handle bars vibrate up and down a couple of inches, I wonder how people ride them and the amount of nerve and other tissue damage. And then I know why I love my CB1100 and and K75.

I was stopped at a traffic light and saw an HD's handlebar's jumping like that with the rider's hands still on it. I felt bad for him. Why would anyone want that?

Not sure if this is a fair question, I own a W12. In comparison- everything vibrates.

Other than some sportsters, HDs don't really vibrate once in motion. My 2014 Ultra has no significant vibration once rolling. Smooth as silk when cruising. The softails have counter balancers and the touring models are rubber mounted. Much older ones are probably a different story. The new 2017 motor supposing doesn't vibrate even at idle. You have to ride one to understand. It's a different type of ride, that's why there are different types of bikes. Not for everyone. Lots of other bikes have all different types of vibration. Motoguzzi has there own type of side shake and my previous z1000 was so buzzy you felt it from your toes to your private parts. I would literally feel number in certain places after an hour. Lol.

And no, my 2014 CB1100 does not vibrate. I also changed out to Renthal low bars and it makes the bike feel so much better in every way.

Try a K75 3-cylinder to see what a really smooth engine is. Great sound, too.

I rode the K75. Yeah that is a smooth motor. The tranny was butter too.

Sure there's some low level of vibration (buzz) in the CB but I don't feel any vibration on my ST which is a V4 with twin counterbalancers.
