The ergos are not right for tall folks on the factory seat on the 2013-2014 CB but the K&H high seat fixes that.

they make some nice seats for sure but at 12.2/list plus .4 shipping for the '17 I'm not going to be happy if I have to buy a $500 seat to make it fit...

I'm at odds with the 2017, at first I thought the tank was bad, but now I kind of like it. I wish they kept the badge rather than HONDA in block silver letters. I prefer mags to spokes. I also prefer the paint-less engine of the 2014 deluxe, but none of these conditions seem worth the $$$ it would take to fix them. I also prefer single sided exhaust, I ride a ton so I do a lot of chain maintenance. I wouldn't want a hot pipe in my way all the time. My favourite although not coming to North America is the 2017 RS, however my major issue with that is the Gold on the shocks, what were they thinking???? Unless they swapped the mags out for gold, then the shocks could stay and only on the black one, red and gold or yellow and gold don't work, but a black 2017 RS with gold mags and gold shocks and black side covers would be the two wheel version of Bandit's trans am to me!

I'm 6'6" (36" inseam) and my '14 DLX is fine right out of the box. I remember how hard it was to clean my 900 Kaw and CL360 Honda spokes back in the 70's!! That's like saying "I see they're using a chain, not a shaft or belt. Bad idea. It's so hard to clean a chain!"

Adding a sheepskin butt pad helped both the cushion and the seat-to-pegs geometry on my '14. Worth trying before looking at aftermarket seats IMO.

The standard seat is a turd.
