A "Like" Button Would Be Nice

With a multi-line sig too long to display, I see an elevator bar. What I'm seeing, and I see it at the end of every post, is sort of like a horizontal elevator bar, but with no function. You guys don't have that?

Where is the plus sign I am supposed to click on to see who liked a post?

I think the horizontal bar you're seeing is also a scroll bar, but other limitations that Guth placed on posts (probably something like "word wrap") prevents us from typing a long enough single line to require scrolling left and right. Then again, I could be mistaken.

Either way, I will be putting my signature line back to something normal now.

Some members were getting a bit too carried away with their signature lines (excessively long) so I went ahead and set a maximum height level for signatures. If your signature exceeds that height, it will "scroll" within a window in the signature area. For members with a short, simple signature it shouldn't come into play. The reason being, on some threads as you scrolled down the page it seemed like half the page or more was consumed by displaying content in signature lines.

(If you're seeing scrolling for everyone's signature, then it probably has something to do with the interaction between your browser and the forum software).

I'm only seeing the horizontal scroll bar FRAME all the time. I only see the vertical frame when someone has a too-long signature.

Well let's see now, temps are currently in the triple digits here in Portland. I don't enjoy riding all that much when the outdoor thermometer is registering in the 90's, let alone when it's 106℉ (our high temp for today). So I'm going to have to take a rain check on your otherwise normally excellent suggestion.
