Thanks for all the comments. I would like to clarify my thoughts on having this as clean and pristine done the road. Not so much for the monetary value, I don’t really think about many things in that sense. More for others to see it an experience it. I know when i go to bike shows and see some old Honda’s, Norton’s, BSA’s, or most any old bike for that matter. Looking all clean and original after so many years.
I really feel these CB’s are pretty special when compared to a lot of other ones made. Not disrespecting others rides, no sir. Would just like for others years from now to enjoy it as well.

I agree with Ferret and others about keeping the CB stock.
The only mods I have added are SW engine guards and a Honda tail rack and a Chic Design Road Comet fairing. But I did change the original chrome lollipop mirrors for a set of black mirrors from Honda
that are meant for a 500 I believe. I have kept the original mirrors.
For whatever reason should I ever choose to return my CB to original
stock condition it will only take two hours of removing these parts.
The CB is beautiful and I wouldn't do anything to mess with its aesthetics.[/size][/font]

When my 2012 Triumph Bonneville was new, I had a couple incidents with cars moving into my lane, because they did not see/hear me. A 1/2" hole down the center of the stock mufflers resolved that.
With 1172 miles in 3 1/2 weeks, I have not experienced that issue with the CB's stock single muffler. There is a mod to that muffler to increase decibels, but the CB and the V7II may be the only recent bikes I have owned with factory exhausts.
Knowledge that the HP gain is upper Rs is of little benefit to me.
BTW, I overlooked one mod that I did the very day I brought it home:
1. Engine guards, factory
2. LED tail/brake light
3. Snorkel minor mod (see attachment)
4. Dart Marlin flyscreen
Would not label the Givi tail bag on the rear seat a mod.
