That CB13 is cool. It's all good. I just need a bigger garage and a bigger budget.

The ergos of the new CB1000R are too aggressive. And anyway, if you're going to go full water-cooled, just go V4, Monoshock and the rest. I'd like to see a redo of the Sabre from the 80's. Good ergos matched with V4 Honda power in a "non-Transformer" modern package.

The CB1100 is that great all-rounder with pure good looks and smooth power.

a CB13 is my 2nd runner-up dream bike next to a CBX and a 75 Goldwing. A bit of customization and it has so much potential. TBH it might be easier to find/buy a CB13 in good condition than either of my other two dream bikes.

You might find it very difficult in the US. I don't think they were ever sold there.

Inquire beforehand about the condition of the Ogulin-Novi Vinodolski road, but if free of wither gravel plan to hit the Adriatic that way. A day trip from Novi: north to Rijeka, breakfast in Opatija, ferry to Cres, along the spine of Cres to Losinj, back to ferry Cres to Krk, swing around the Krk (Stara Baska and back) and bridge to mainland. (No motorcycle ride in Croatia feels right if it does not include at least two ferry rides. No matter how full the ferry is, even in the top-season, they will load another motorcycle. Unlike some places...

Then south on the coastal road. The stretch from Novi - Senj - Karlobag - Paklenica should be quite memorable. But then, since you are in the vicinity, you may already know that.

CB 1000 and CB 1300 look very similar, the CB 1300 had some great paint jobs.
