RE: CB1100 Monthly Photo Challenge

In snow, I would rather be on a dual sport with trial or scrambler tires!

In snow, I'd rather be settled in front of a blazing fire with a brandy or two to hand. Big Grin

RE: CB1100 Monthly Photo Challenge

I remember being in snow on a mountain single track, snow about 12" deep, riding/pushing a Yamaha 175cc enduro, with scrambler tires, trying to get up hill. I was sweating so much I was down to shirtless. That was circa 76-79. I may be smarter now!

Snow is not as scary as ice. But ice is not an issue, if there is no need to accelerate, turn or stop.

RE: CB1100 Monthly Photo Challenge

The first Saturday in December, the City of Pleasanton holds a Hometown Holiday Celebration. Main Street is closed for a few hours for a parade. Festive floats, antique cars, and pretty much anything that can make someone smile is allowed to roll through downtown. The kids enjoy the floats and treats, and parents can relax for a while and return to a simpler time common to small towns across America. The evening culminates with the lighting of the City Christmas Tree. The weather was crisp and clear tonight and I captured the moment. I hope this picture meets the requirements EmptySea specified for December. Have a great weekend. David

Beautiful picture, David.

There's a difference in riding a naked bike and riding a bike naked.
Won't make that mistake again.

Which is brighter: the CB1100 or the tree?

RE: CB1100 Monthly Photo Challenge

It looks to me like GoneIn60 had the first qualifying photo for December's challenge and so has the solemn duty (ok, that's a bit of a stretch, but I did get to say "doody") of selecting the first challenge of 2026. Happy New Year everyone!
