TheLegend, The Owner manual is the little booklet that comes with the bike. It's handy, but, if you want the service manual that tells you how to pull the bike to pieces and put it back together, you need this one. As Helm inc deals with manuals for the USA it's not clear that it includes the RS model.

Here are a few pictures of my service manual, which I purchased for $80 USD. Honda does not sell a PDF version because it is impossible to stop digital piracy.
Note that I cut the perfect bind off my manual and used some rings to enable it to lay flat while I work. Although not as attractive, it is better for me than a greasy wrench in the middle of the page!
I have never seen a dedicated CB1100 “RS” section in any Honda Service manual. I believe Honda felt the EX and RS were so similar that a custom section was not cost justified to produce.
For anyone who likes to wrench on a CB1100 with confidence, I believe the Service Manual is a must. However, I know countless owners who just ride and let local shops handle maintenance. It is such a well engineered motorcycle that it is not uncommon for someone to clock 160,000 KM with little more than fluid changes, fresh tires, chain adjustments, and a few spark plugs.
2017 Honda CB1100 EX
The most sophisticated, smooth, perfectly engineered motorcycle I've ever owned. A pleasure in every way.
I will order the big one with NA included but, I have to admit that I have some small reservations because I suspect that the RS engine is a little bit slightly different from the EX(tunning, valve timing, pair etc), also on the electrical part there are differences, RS having LED equipment and I don't know if all this is captured in the Helm manual. But 99% will be a great help to me and I will do my job with it. Thank you all!

"The sports-oriented CB1100 RS model was released in the 2017 model year. This model has all lighting from LED lights, slightly revised engine, 17-inch aluminium wheels, shorter wheelbase by 5 mm, Tokico radial brake calipers, different caster angle, sportier suspension setup with dual bending valve two-piece Showa 43 mm fork, and sport-oriented tires"
OEM parts catalog for 2018 1100RS is here and the model code is CB1100NAJ
MiLord, dunno, I was just citing...
Me thinks;
NA - 2017 MY
NAJ - 2018 MY
On my Z650RS there are LEDs everywhere, including the turn signals.
IMHO the RS owner won't need it as I do not see any progress in solving the alleged problems which have been widley discussed on this forum, and he keeps riding his RS without any breakdowns..??
