Anybody seen the new CB1000F?

Honda announced two versions, which they say are "production ready".    I was impressed with the look.  It looks like something that Freddie Spencer would be proud to throw a leg over.   The styling borrows heavily from the '82 CB900F.   What do you think?

I read that article, but I've seen so many click bait videos about a new CB750 and CB400 four that I'll wait to see it to believe it.

I like the looks of that a lot. Round headlight really adds a look that I like

I like it better than the Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki naked standards.  Maybe because I was around when the CB900F appeared.  I'd black out the radiator trim, and don't really like the headpipe shape. But maybe it'll grow on me.

The first bike is stock. The second pic has been altered to reshape the exhaust and blacken out the radiator trim.  I should have marked them so.

In the altered photo it looks lots better.  I dislike radiators in general, and really dislike obvious radiators on bikes.  The way the stock headpipes jut forward and almost down is not pleasing to the eye.  But otherwise, it is a sharp looking bike.

I dig the SE versionof this bike
...its all down to whether i prefer yhe upright style of riding or my new lower clip on bars. I will test ride this bike when its available, but im not holding out hope that anything is going to make the thruxton sweat.
