I have a warm n safe jacket liner and heated glove liners (already have plenty of gloves) glove liners plug into cuffs on jacket liner, dual heat controller control heat to liner and glove liners separately. Heat controller plugs into my battery tender pigtail. I keep controller in side pocket of tank bag.

ST has aftermarket heated grips and handlebar muffs, so I only need my regular deer skin gloves on that for my hands.

Are you talking about regular construction glove....the ugly yellow ones? I need pictures of the ensamble please!
Just order the Oxford grips my self so now I'm tackling the glove situation.

No I wear motorcycle specific deerskin gloves from Fox Creek and another company which the name escapes me right now. Without the handlebar muffs on the ST the gloves would be too thin for below 40 degree rides of any length. For me the thin deerskin gloves I use are good down to about 45-50 degrees by themselves. I have heavier gloves to wear on naked bikes that don't have heated grips or some kind of wind protection...or I use the heated glove liners plugged into my heated jacket liner.

If it's really cold outside with no snow, ice or salt
on the streets and I like to go out for a ride, I use this ones.
They are two in one, mountainclimbers use them for example. No electricity involved.

Just bought these. Rechargeable batteries. Supposed to work for at least 3 hours on High, longer if I don’t need to be as toasty. 55 tomorrow, so I won’t be testing them anytime soon, but I will report back once I do

Even though I have no experience with heated gear, I'll add this...

If you're going to ride with heated gloves, riding with a compatible heated jacket makes the connection system much easier.
That way, you're only dealing with connections at the hip and wrists....instead of having a loose wire run up your jacket and down your sleeves, etc.

Also, I've heard from several people that heated gloves are somewhat more effective than heated grips. The heating areas are apparently different (the grips send the heat into the palms, whereas the heated gloves go the other way, from the outside in).

Bheezy -a little late , but if you have the two wire tender pigtail you can buy an adapter cable to go from your two wire pigtale to the heated gear coaxial connecter on the controllers.

Red channel for jacket liner and yellow channel for gloves or glove liners. Last week I thought I'd fried the red channel getting off the bike and forgetting to unplug when I walked away from the bike. The jacket liner no longer got warm. I bought a new Heat-Troller and, to my chagrin, still no liner heat. I sat down in the house with the liner and an electrical continuity meter. The red channel was an open circuit. Thankfully, the [url=https://www.webbikeworld.com/powerlet-rapidfire-heated-clothing-review/]Powerlet RapidFIRe liner has an internal zipper that gives you access to the bundle of wiring inside. I traced the open circuit to a fault in one of the wire crimps. Cut it out, put in a new butt splice, and presto! Jacket liner is now working again. What to do with the extra Heat-Troller? Well, I may eventually invest in heated pant liners and heated boot liners. Then I can truly ride down to some low temps and for extended hours.

I had those and returned them in a hurry. Battery life sucks...it lasted me just a moth and half (have an extra one if you ever need it) Good luck!
