I still have my graphic heavy full face helmet from Ninja days...but it seems like with this CB1100 it would be more natural to wear an open face helmet with glasses or possibly a shield...what are others doing?
I was thinking something like this from Shoei.

I currently have a Shoei Multi-tec but I would be tempted to wear a 3/4 helmet for around town use.

I use a blacked out Shoei full face helmet. It looks awesome with the red, you don't have to wear sunglass, deal with bugs in the face, It's way nicer at speed without a fairing, and... the kicker in my case... Most accidents result in you landing on your chin/face.

the point of a helmet is protection and open face helmets do not protect your face.
I don't care how it looks or what's cool, Full face helmet all the time.

The Shoei J Cruise is a 3/4 with a full face shield. It keeps the wind out of your eyes, and I forget I have a full shield for protection.

I currently have a modular, but I almost always ride with it closed. If I'm doing parking lot practice, I might open it up, but that's about it.
I will probably upgrade to a decent Shoei full-face when I have some extra cash. As others have said, it's about full protection.

I wear contact lenses because they give me better depth perception than glasses for some reason, so -- for that reason alone I wear a full face helmet. I find that anything other than a full face will dry my contacts out very quickly.
