So, the question is, who is with me?

I love big mile days. The only problem I see is a 55 MPH speed limit in Canada and the two border crossings. Other than that, it's very do-able.

Timing is bad for me, but otherwise I'd be in. Good luck, Ole

Ole, Oh I SO want to do this! Timing is an issue. I'll be at the MMM in Boyne City the weekend before.
I've wanted to see if could get through an IBA 1K. If the weather behaves this would be a beautiful ride. Let me give this some thought. I'll PM you later. Thanks for the head's up.

I have a timing issue as well but am confidant I will overcome it.
I am on-call at work that whole week. I think I can persuade a co-worker to cover me if I provide him many beers.

My beer plan worked! A co-worker is covering for me. So a Lake Superior 1K is in my future.
Sent the check in the mail to the guy organizing it. He rides a ST1100. Should be a fun 24 hours!

The Mounties did not bother me until I hit 80 MPH. Then it was just a warning. The border crossings should only take a minute or two with a passport. It is a nice ride, well worth doing.
