Brno - Czech Republic MotoGP***spoiler alert***

Heads up. This weekend's race is on Fox Sports 2 (Direct TV channel 618). You might check to see that you are set up to record correctly.

Marquez is 56 points behind Rossi and 47 points behind Lorenzo with 8 races to go. Bruno is a good track for Honda (Pedrosa won last year) but even if Marc sweeps the remaining races, odds are still heavily in favor of Lorenzo and Rossi.

But anything can happen. If the Yamaha team runs into a streak of bad luck, MM could take the title.

I keep telling myself this.Angel

Cmon Brno. I missed last weeks race but managed to catch it on the ipad on Monday while waiting for a plane. This Sunday I will be parked in front of the screen.

As hard as Lorenzo claims to have been working out I am surprised by his admitted "running out of energy" at the end of the race last week.

Marquez has one great advantage over his main competitors that neither money nor physical training can overcome and that is youth. He's back on his game and will be tough to beat for the remainder of this season I think.

I want to see Rossi win one more championship but he will need to pull some of his old magic out of the hat to do it. Remember years back when he told his arch rival Gibernau that he (Gibernau) would never win another Motogp race. Gibernau never won again.

As much as I admire Rossi I am excited to see MM coming back on a bike that suits him. I am not surprised that Lorenzo "ran out of energy". MM sat on his back wheel most of the race. Toying with him really. When ready he took him and broke away. Enough to make most run out of energy. If MM can maintain the rage, Rossi and Lorenzo register a DNF (unlikely), it will be a ripper of a finish to the season. I have my PI tickets already.

Cheers
And let the rain stay away.

Air temperatures were above 115 degrees today! Marc crashed in FP 1 and FP 2 but managed the second overall fastest lap behind Lorenzo and the best time in FP2. Pedrosa took a major blow to the foot with a lot of metal work from a previous injury and could miss the race. Same hot conditions forecast for tomorrow.

Looks like Jorge is the man to beat.

Just checked and you are right. I think this was a recent programming update. The 7:30am broadcast is live with a 30 minute pre-race show.

Lorenzo set the track record, Marquez less than a tenth behind and Rossi is 3 tenths behind. Brno track plays to the worst nature of the Honda engine. Marquez will have to take lots of risks to keep up.

A start prediction - Lorenzo and Rossi in front of Marquez through the first turn.

As a Marquez fan my worst fear is that Jorge opens a huge lead while Marc battles with Valentino for second.
