McQueen was definitely a stud. I still find it fascinating to think about him being chosen to represent the USA in the ISDT, well into his stardom by then. The selection of those spots had nothing to do with fame or fortune. Rather it was an acknowledgement of McQueen's overall skills as a rider and competitor along with his wrenching abilities. If anyone's life were worthy of being made into a movie, the King of Cool would be right up there in my opinion. The only problem is that casting his character would be downright impossible.
